About
For as long as I can remember, I never thought about a specific role or title I wanted to hold. I thought instead about how I moved through the world — in motion, always feeling for the rhythm, the beat in life. That translates now as someone who [unfinished — your line to land].
I’ve spent a lot of time in motion, looking for rhythm rather than arrival.
Community
My family taught me that community was never about where you were at, or the size of the group you impacted — it was about the culture you build with the people around you.
2021 — Organizing
Keep Orlando Beautiful cleanup
As a UCF graduate student, I led a Downtown Student Life partnership with Keep Orlando Beautiful, a City of Orlando nonprofit, for a community cleanup at John H. Jackson Community Center. The instinct at its most grassroots — initiating something from nothing.
Building connections and extending scope to find partners in the community being served, to increase impact.

2022 — Fieldwork
Savannah parks equity assessment
Site visit team member for Equitable Cities’ Parks Selection and Current Conditions Analysis with Healthy Savannah and the YMCA of Coastal Georgia, part of a CDC REACH health equity initiative. I conducted Complete Streets and CPTED (Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design) assessments across six Savannah parks, and facilitated focus groups of six to eight residents at a time, all ages, living near the selected parks. That feedback directly shaped the short- and long-term recommendations in the Draft and Final Action Plan.

2023 — National policy research
Arrested Mobility
Co-author, with Charles T. Brown and Samuel Kling, of a national report examining discriminatory transportation policy — walking, biking, and e-scooter laws — across all 50 states, published via Equitable Cities and NUMO. I helped conduct structured interviews with Black residents nationwide on the lived experience of mobility and policing.

Creativity
Creativity is part of all of us. It doesn’t stay bound to one medium — for me, it’s shown up through strategy as much as through production.
CCC is instrumental alt rock with house influence. This is what I’m making right now.
Autonomy
Wanting freedom for myself is what pushes me to protect it for other people — to fight for equity so other people get to be empowered too.
For myself
I do my best work project-based and self-paced. Rigid structure registers as real friction, not just preference.
I’m not choosing between stable and flexible. I want both.
This site is the evidence — not a search for the next seat, but an independent practice at the intersection of arts and culture equity, policy, and community.
For others
Music Artists Coalition Policy Fellowship — ticketing reform and artist rights. Dynamic pricing that shifts without consent. Bots buying inventory before real fans can. Hidden fees. Platforms and secondary markets deciding what an artist’s own work is worth.
Someone else currently controls the terms. The fix is returning that control to the person it belongs to.
The same pattern runs through the community work above — putting people’s own voices into decisions about their own lives.
